9th Tawara-Aschoff Symposium
We would like to express our gratitude and extend an invitation to participate in the 9th Tawara-Aschoff Symposium.
The Symposium honors Sunao Tawara, pioneering cardiologist of Japan, who discovered the electrical conduction system of the heart. Recently, with Purkinje cells considered a hot topic in the field of arrhythmia, we look back at the significance of Tawara’s great achievement.
Our committee has studied the significance of this achievement in the history of medicine, while engaging in friendly exchanges with our colleagues in Germany. This year’s Symposium—to take place immediately after the JHRS / JSE joint scientific meeting—will feature discussions on up-to-date topics with a multinational group of participants.
We plan to begin by focusing on the autonomic nervous system and arrhythmia—a theme of continual interest. You are cordially invited to attend and actively participate in the discussions.
